Lucille Ball was a great American comedian of film, radio, television and radio. She stared in a number of TV shows include I Love Lucy, The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy. Lucille Ball was a very influential actress of her time. She was also very popular with one of the longest Hollywood careers of most actors of that time. In the 1930's Lucille was a movie star and throughout her career she always managed to stay employed making movies well into the 1960's and 1070's.

Throughout her career she managed to receive thirteen Emmy Award nominations and four wins. She is an recipient of the Golden Globe award and the lifetime achievement award. She appeared in many roles during her career but she is best known for her role on the popular I Love Lucy show which ran on CBS from 1962 to 1968, and Here's Lucy from 1968 to 1974.
