Sonny is the most famous musical band in the late 60’s. This can be a unique costume in case you are planning to go to one of those best Halloween parties dressed as the musical favorites Sonny and Cher Hippie. These are all easy to do costumes which can be done at your home with little or more alterations.
Cher wore long black hair in the 60’s. So you can purchase or hire a wig which most likely suits this kind of costume which gives you a regular hippie look. Sonny had a long black, bowl shaped hair cut with straight bangs along with a big black mustache. You can either paint the moustache with eye liner or even get an artificial moustache in any of those wig stores. Along with this you can wear head bands around the foreheads to give a rock star look.

Wear bell bottoms and trim them at the bottom with beads and laces - you can use a loose stitch to attach them. You can wear tie-dyed shirts or a loose shirt and wide belt with buckles.
